Now, a crore of these women are making more than ₹1 lakh a year, allowing them to live their lives with honor and esteem. The Minister of Home Affairs also mentioned that the government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has given the green light to infrastructure initiatives valued at ₹3 lakh crore. This includes connecting 25,000 isolated villages to road systems and constructing a large port in Wadhawan, Maharashtra, within its initial 100-day in The Office

In addition to infrastructure, the government has also concentrated on agriculture, by raising the minimum support price (MSP) for Kharif crops, eliminating the minimum export price (MEP) on onions and basmati rice, and increasing the import duty on crude palm, soybean, and sunflower oils. The authorities gave the green light to the Wadhavan Mega Port in Maharashtra, allocating a budget of ₹76,200 crore, positioning it among the top 10 global ports, he mentioned.

Through the Prime Minister's Rural Roads Scheme-4 (PMGSY-IV), the green light was given for the development and improvement of 62,500 km of roads and bridges to link 25,000 villages that were previously unconnected, with the federal government contributing ₹49,000 crore. A significant number of these isolated villages have populations below 100.

Additionally, the government has sanctioned the enhancement of India's road infrastructure with a budget of ₹50,600 crore, which also includes support for eight National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects over a distance of 936 km. Furthermore, the government has introduced a new initiative called Agrisure, designed to transform the agricultural sector and back startups and rural businesses.
